Builder [VB] and his friends have built an entire royal family of odd creatures such as this King Asmodeus. The kicker is the only description they left for us is written in some crazy, arcane, completely indecipherable moon language. They state; “Aucun avant n’a songe de réunir un pandémonium d’aberrations et de porteurs de malheur sous une seule entité surnommée le Dictionnaire Infernal”. I just wish there was some sort of online translator to make heads or tails of this muck. It would be like Googling something except, instead of looking up photos or articles, you could plug the indecipherable gibberish into one section and it would spit up a translation in English, or whatever your native language happens to be. But we’re probably like fifty years from having such technology, which is a shame really. Oh, well. Here’s a prior time the same builder totally delighted us with Uranus. The...
I may seem a bit quiet on the content front at the moment, but don't worry, all is well. I'm not in a motivational rut and there's no other problem behind the scenes, but at the same time there's no big-bang MOC I'm secretly working on or anything. This is the most dramatic new product release lull of the year, with the trans-holiday rush looming over the horizon, and I always use this time to work on mundane chores that nobody else cares about. Most of these "between" seasons have delayed starts as normal work goes overtime, and that has resulted in a significant backlog against which I'm now making as much progress as I can, while I can. The Huascar by Aldrin is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The 2,990 piece ship is based on the real life one that was built in 1865 and was on Peru’s Navy. It served on a few missions including the War of the Pacific and the Battle of Angamos. The project now joins Queen: I Want to Break Free, Seinfeld 30th Anniversary, The Legend of Zelda: BotW Stables, Planet Express Delivery Ship, Ratatouille: Open The Doors!, LEGO Typewriter, and The Legend of the BIONICLE as the projects to reach the Third 2019 Review Stage. The promotion for the LEGO Seasonal Creator Reindeer (40434) is now live on LEGO Shop@Home. You can get it with purchases of $35 or more from now until November 17, while supplies last. If you’re a polybag collector, it is the same one as the 30474 version from 2016 but has a new set number. It’s not too cool but it’s something if you’re making a purchase the next few weeks. I suspect most people will be waiting for the big promo at the end of the month for Black Friday. The post LEGO Seasonal Creator Reindeer (40434) Promotion Now Live appeared first on The Brick Fan.
