In The LEGO Group’s seemingly endless fight against counterfeiters, the company has announced they have won against a company in China that infringes upon their copyrights. In September, the China Shantou Intermediate People’s Court ruled that BELA had indeed copied LEGO in various ways including the packaging and logo of their products from various subthemes. This marks the first time that LEGO has won a copyright infringement case in China. There is also another company that LEGO also filed a case against. Throughout the days of the 2017 Christmas Build Up (40253), the builds pretty much have something that revolved around the theme of Christmas but for today’s build, it seems that we’ve jumped into springtime. That’s because the build for today is a ladybug but after doing some research it might be based on the Christmas special for the French animated series, Miraculous Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir. Or maybe I’m just trying too hard to find a Christmas connection… Anyways, the ladybug looks cute especially with the use of the 1×1 round eyelash tiles.
