TBB NEWS: It’s a week of summer fun for LEGO fans, with not one but two brand new roller coaster sets revealed, along with several other new sets such as the long-awaited City Hospital and an outdoor-themed people pack.
LEGO Creator Expert 10261 Roller Coaster announced – Here’s the set we’ve been waiting for since we first saw LEGO’s new roller coaster system in the Joker Manor. With over 4,000 pieces and 10 minifigures, this is one we’re eager to review. LEGO Creator 31084 Pirate Rollercoaster revealed – If the Creator Expert Roller Coaster isn’t enough, check out this smaller pirate-themed track. LEGO City 60204 Hospital first look – It’s been a long time since the last LEGO City hospital, but it looks like it’s been worth the wait. With a full dozen minifigures, this set has LEGO City fans abuzz. LEGO mammoth from 60195 Arctic Mobile Exploration Base – Last week we got a look at all the new Arctic sets from LEGO City, but with some new photos we’re able to take a closer look at one of the coolest new creatures: the wooly mammoth. LEGO City 60202 People Pack – Outdoor Adventures revealed – It’s summertime, and LEGO City is ready to get outdoors with this new minifigure pack consisting of 15 characters (including a baby) participating in a variety of wilderness activities. From camping to kayaking, there’s plenty going on here. LEGO Ninjago 70657 NINJAGO City Docks revealed – We’re getting out first look at Ninjago’s second largest set ever. This expansion to Ninjago City adds docks, apartments, and more, all built with what looks like the same details we loved in Ninjago City.TBB REVIEWS: We close out our reviews of the new LEGO Star Wars sets from Solo: A Star Wars Story and look ahead to Star Wars Day on May 4th.
LEGO Star Wars 40288 BB-8 review & mod instructions – The popular spherical droid BB-8 is the special guest at this year’s May the Fourth celebrations, with the small set being given away with qualifying purchases. We take a look at the set and give BB-8 some upgrades, like his iconic thumbs-up lighter. Exploring personalization with LEGO BrickHeadz 41597 Go Brick Me – Following our first review of the new “Go Brick Me” set, we see what else you can build from the parts in the set. LEGO Star Wars 75211 Imperial TIE Fighter review – This familiar Imperial fighter is back in Solo: A Star Wars Story, and the new LEGO version looks like the most accurate yet. In this thorough review we see how the latest TIE Fighter stacks up. LEGO 75933 T. Rex Transport from Jurassic World review – No dino-centric line would be complete without the most infamous dinosaur of them all, the T. Rex, and Jurassic World is no exception. We already know we love the T. Rex, but we’ve got a hands-on review of the T. Rex Transport to see how cool the rest of the set is. LEGO BrickHeadz 41611 Marty McFly and Doc Emmett Brown review – BrickHeadz picks up another license, adding Back to the Future with this classic duo of time-travelers.
