LEGO City Beach Buggy (30369) Polybag Review

LEGO’s next promotion on LEGO Shop@Home starts tomorrow with the LEGO City Beach Buggy (30369) polybag. The promotion runs from May 18-31 and you can get it for free with purchases of $40 or more, while supplies last. The polybag has 45 pieces and it features a basic orange buggy along with a surfer minifigure. Note that the torso for the minifig is quite rare at this time and can only be found in one other set which is the Minifigure Set Summer Celebration (40344). That set is now retired so this polybag is the only to get the torso design unless you go do Bricks & Pieces or on the secondary market. One other part to highlight is the teal surfboard.

I believe this polybag is also available at Walmart for about $5 and some locations even have it on sale for 20% off. Honestly, I don’t think it warrants a $40 purchase because it’s nothing too exciting about it. In fact, it just reminds me of Zac Efron from Baywatch.

Thank you to LEGO for sending in this set for me to review. The content above represents my own opinion and not the company. Review sets sent in does not guarantee a positive review.
