The LEGO DREAMZzz line releases in just a little over a month and the first set that we want to check out is the Grimkeeper the Cage Monster (71455). It has 274 pieces and retails for $37.99.
Minifigures
There are two minifigures in the set, Mateo and Cooper. Mateo has on a blue shirt with a metallic belt strap going across the chest with an hourglass logo. The legs are dual molded with his red shoes. He has a double-sided head showing him with a determined look on one side and a smile on the other. He has vitiligo so the head also shows him with a spot around his right eye. His accessories include a pencil spear, an hourglass, and a green belt.
Cooper has a red jacket with checkboard printing on both sides of the torso. His double-sided head shows him with a determined look on one side and sleeping on the other.
The main build of the set is the Grimkeeper which is a creature that works for the Nightmare King. It is fully articulated with ratchet joints for the arms and legs. The elbows and knees have some swivel to them and the fingers and toes are clipped on.
Clipped on to the Grimkeeper’s hand is a Grimspawn that looks like a lantern with wings.
The head is on a ball joint and the lower jaw is on hinges. Between the shoulderpads are some spikes which should be more of but there’s just not enough room on the set.
