When I heard that there would be a Gift with Purchase released at the same time as the Shuttle Carrier Aircraft, I was very excited for the possibilities. I knew it was highly unlikely, but I hoped for a NASA themed F-104 Chase Plane, or perhaps the Shuttle Training Aircraft, or maybe a LEGO-ized patch like what was done for the Lunar Lander.
I was not, however, prepared for the assault of cuteness that I received. It was so cute, it might have just won our Adorabuild last year!
Upon opening the shipping box the cuteness of a brick-built baby LEGO spaceman was staring back at me! The build is essentially BrickHeadz-like, but bigger and more in scale with the upscaled figures that have been popular as of late. (You might remember we took a deep dive into all things baby-scale two years ago.)
Major Assemblies
I really want one in every color of Classic Space. Other than the printed face and logo tile, it is nearly possible. The limiting pieces are the 1x1x1 1/3 quarter spheres (piece 1871), 3x3x2 arch and the quarter dome (piece 88923). They are available in all Classic Space colors but blue, sadly.

This adorable upscaled space baby comes with any purchases (excluding pre-sales but including Pick a Brick) of $150 US | £135 UK | €150 EU | $190 CAN | $245 AU until the May 23 while supplies last (which judging by the overwhelming demand, will probably not last long.)
We can’t repel cuteness of that magnitude! (note other baby space figures are not included with this set)
In addition to the Space Baby GWP, there are a few new sets now available including the Shuttle Carrier and the Dancing Figures artwork that we both took a look at, as well as the Mario Kart figure and an Insiders reward Spiny Blue Shell which should be available a bit later today.
