Well, this isn't as good of a set as I originally (from pictures) thought it would be, but that's not so bad because my initial impressions were of near perfection for the medium. In reality, the finished product in-hand has just minor, arguable flaws.Video: LEGO Star Wars large-scale Scout Trooper & Speeder Bike review! 75532Original linkOriginal author: theJANG
Going into this review season, this bus set looked like one of the more anticipated offerings with its promise of some good "normal town stuff." Some of the execution on the theme came up lacking, though, I feel.Videos:Time lapse ⏩ LEGO City 2017 Bus Station 60154LEGO City 2017 Bus Station review ? 60154Original linkOriginal author: theJANG

The Gilmore Girls – Luke’s Diner by Rainer Zufall is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The setting for the project is from a prominent location from the popular comedy-drama show on the WB/CW. It also proposes minifigures of Lorelai, Luke, Rory, Jess, Lane, and Kirk. The project hit the milestone in less than a month due to its coverage on online publications like Buzzfeed, Fortune, Time, and Mashable, just to name a few. I honestly did not watch Gilmore Girls so I’m not sure of its popularity even though I’ve heard of it before. It now joins The Blues Mobile, SEGA Classic Arcade Machines, Dungeon Master, Red Arrows Hawk, Venetian Houses, and Jeep Wrangler, NBC’s The Office, Tron Legacy Cycle, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Surf Rescue, and Medieval Watermill as the projects to reach the First 2017 Review Stage. It doesn’t take a hardcore Whovian to appreciate this awesome LEGO TARDIS interior by AdNorrel. The builder says he was inspired after watching the episode Journey to the Center of the TARDIS. This build isn’t based on any specific room inside the TARDIS — it’s the builder’s own design — and it captures the Doctor Who aesthetic perfectly. I love the use of the gold wings and crystal pieces on the detailing of the crystal holder, and the Hero Factory drums as crystals. However, the real star of the show is the floor. It seems simple at first glance, but close inspection reveals an intricate design of gears and Technic parts, giving the impression that the gears of time are turning beneath the mythical crystal. The photography is wonderful as well, be sure to click through to the builder’s photostream to see more beautiful shots! The post The wheels of time turn beneath the...
