A tiny motorcycle full of NPU horsepower! Brian Kescenovitz designed this perfect, little bike design. What I like about this bike is the interesting pieces used to solve those difficult connection points. From the use of binoculars to nozzles, even the joysticks used as a kickstand and to attach the grill element on the rear end, and especially the single tread piece used to connect the rear wheel. This build by Jonas Kramm features some wonderful landscape, organic trees, interesting posing, and a subtle hint of some ruins. I like how Jonas chose to use primarily bright green for the growth along the path, a color choice not seen too often. I must say though, Indy and his companions do not look like they have a comfortable seating arrangement for their long trek. As they cross the small river, there is a leaning tower, hinting at what is beyond the scene that we see. A nice touch. BrickHeadz have limited opportunities for many details. However, a crossover between LEGO's new series and Transformers proves that you can pack small details into these little character designs. Curtydc designed a Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, including details like the wheels, headlights, and grills of their robotic designs. Deus Otiosus crafted this scary looking throne. It looks very strong, probably because of its backbone. The builder did an excellent job incorporating many bone elements, keeping it organic and scary appearing throughout the design. (I especially like the curves of the sides.) A wonderful use of many curved white tooth/tail pieces to make sure it never appears to have a straight angle. Takamichi Irie's tiny animals are making a large impression on many LEGO enthusiasts. When building your own animals, it is no easy task. The smaller you make the creatures, the less detail they have, and they look less organic. Now, some of these may not be scaled for minifigures, but if you went much smaller with these organisms, they wouldn't be nearly as cool. Which is your favorite?! Mine has got to be that rooster.
