Yesterday, LEGO announced they have revealed the first prototype LEGO brick made from recycled plastic. In the video, could LEGO have teased part of the Earth Globe which was the winner of the First 2020 Review Stage on LEGO Ideas? It is currently under development with at least two more projects to be released ahead of it so there’s still a long ways away from being ready. The land masses have some updated coloring and parts for the terrain but the building style is pretty similar. Of course, this is just speculation and it’s just a brick-built globe LEGO had but it does make you wonder just a little bit. Thanks to Federico for the eagle eye. LEGO has announced the winner of the LEGO Ideas Seaside contest in which the winning build will become the next gift-with-purchase set and the title of Fan Designer. The winner with 969 votes is Ray the Castaway by DadiTwins (shown above) and it was a runaway choice from fans as it had over 400 votes over the next runner up build. There’s no word on when it will be released as a GWP but it’ll be probably at least a year if you compare it to previous GWP building contests. Original linkOriginal author: Allen "Tormentalous" Tran
