It’s a new year and that means we can now do a recap of what when on for The Brick Fan in 2025. It’s always fun to look back and see what happened during the year compared to previous years. There were a total of 928 posts last year with July being the month with the most news with 105 posts. Of those posts we had 19,010,766 page views and that was a 26.5% decrease in views from 2024. Although the views are down, it doesn’t really tell the whole story because the engagement through social media have increased significantly. The most popular day on the site was May 2 with 244,621 views which was the day that the summer 2025 LEGO sets were revealed for a majority of the themes. 2025 has ended with two more projects squeezing in the LEGO Ideas Third 2025 Review Stage. December brought no shortage of great LEGO content from around the globe! Here at BrickNerd, we started the month by converting the LEGO Ideas steamboat into Master Chen’s ferry, had two talented teams compete to turn a retail set into a GBC module, looked at an innovative way to convert light bricks into Christmas tree lights, and found that new elements sometimes warrant revisiting an excellent MOC to make it even better! We looked at the ever-growing array of costumed minifigs, revisited a hot drink stand MOC, saw the detailed inspiration and planning going into wonderful Spiderman inspired MOCs, and provided instructions to build your own microscale train.
