I FINALLY got some time to do this post. And good thing too because we’ve been on a pretty good streak for posting daily. Even though it’s so close to midnight, it still counts! If...[[ This is a content summary only. Visit my website for full links, other content, and more! ]]Original link
Trek far enough through the tropical rainforests of South America, and you might be lucky enough to stumble upon the toco toucan. Toucans are widely recognized because of their big, bold, bodacious beaks. It’s a wonder they are able to support the weight of that massive-looking head. For that matter, we are amazed Sven Franic was able to pull off the same feat with his brick-built toucan. By utilizing a wide variety of curved elements, Sven has managed to sculpt out an excellent likeness of this magnificent bird. The wooden perch is also a nice touch, one that probably also helps with supporting bird’s weight. It’s “toucan-tastic!” The post A toucan of appreciation for a beautiful bird appeared first on The Brothers Brick. Original linkOriginal author: Matt Hocker
I've always loved the Nebulon-B, from the first moment I saw it on screen in the Empire Strikes Back I was intrigued. It was designed by my dear old friend Nilo Rodis, inspired by an outboard motor. The description for this MOC says that it's "original creation by dranac modifications and photo by one case". I will say they make a hell of a team, because this is an outstanding model and presentation. Original linkOriginal author: Tommy
I suppose it's not all that uncommon, for people to fall in love and actually stick together. Marriage is work, don't let anyone fool you, but when two people click, and understand each other enough to weather the bad times (there are always bad times) then it can work out. This couple, expertly rendered by builder vincentkiew, has been married over 60 years, which is truly an accomplishment. Then you learn that he happens to be the Prime Minister of Malaysia, and the oldest Prime Minister in the world, and you don't know what to be more impressed about. Original linkOriginal author: Tommy
