While it is perfectly fine to store LEGO in any type of container, if you want a bit of something extra special that will hold your LEGO, and also show off your love of the hobby, it’s worth checking out LEGO’s own storage solutions. The company that makes the official LEGO-branded storage and sorting boxes (as well […]Original linkOriginal author: admin
One of my favorite LEGO blogs is New Elementary. It is run by Tim Johnson (a.k.a. caperberry) from the UK. Tim’s focus is on taking a look at new LEGO elements (thus the blog’s name) released by the LEGO Group, and analyze their shapes, colors, angles, connection-points, interaction and compatibility with other pieces, etc. Tim’s […]Original linkOriginal author: admin
Duck Hunt brought new game dynamics to the Nintendo Entertainment System with light guns that players could aim at the television screen to shoot ducks as they popped up from the bushes. While brick-built LEGO consoles like this LEGO NES (including a light gun) are popular subjects, faithful recreations of early console games are more rare. Their LEGO builds are an envy of many builders who have tried to replicate themselves or take inspiration from. The 29th Guangzhou Toy & Hobby Fair kicked off yesterday and there’s a Chinese “new” brick company who has appeared to be making sets based on the designs of some of the builders I’ve named above. In a post on Facebook, there are images of a company called Xingbao (星堡) who is owned by Meizi Model (美致模型), which is the same company that owns LEPIN, at...
