The Lifeguard’s Shack by adwind is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The 540 piece build features a lifeguard shack on a deck. The roof is removable to access the inside of the shack. The project now joins Imperial Island Fort and Movie Set as the ones to reach the First 2021 Review Stage. LEGO has released what seems to be a teaser for a new LEGO Friends set. There’s been rumors of a Friends set that features Monica & Rachel’s Apartment (10292) and it will be coming this month. As you can see, it shows all the main characters from the show including Rachel, Ross, Joey, Chandler, Monica, and Phoebe. Monica has on the apron and Chandler has a brown jacket. LEGO is getting hyped up for Stranger Things 4 as they have recreated a scene from the trailer that dropped yesterday. The trailer itself was pretty confusing as it shows some kids inside some sort of institute playing with puzzles. There’s one short scene that shows a child stacking some blocks which LEGO has recreated showing a minifigure stacking some bricks. I’m not sure if LEGO is teasing some more LEGO Stranger Things sets or just getting in on the hype. I’m guessing the latter. Currently there’s only one set based on the show which is The Upside Down (75810). There was also a Barb minifigure that was exclusive to SDCC 2019. Amazon currently has the LEGO Star Wars Luke Skywalker’s X-Wing Fighter (75301) on sale for $47.17 with an additional $7.18 saving when you apply a coupon. This pretty much makes the set at 20% off after the $10 savings. This is the lowest price the set has been at since its release at the beginning of the year. For those who are interested, the LEGO x adidas ZX 8000 Color Pack shoes are now available for purchase over on the adidas site. There are six colors to choose from and it looks like all sizes are available in men’s sizes ranging from 4-13. They do cost $140 plus tax and shipping. FOX has announced that season two of LEGO Masters will be premiering on June 1. Will Arnett will be returning to host the new season and LEGO judges Jamie Berard and Amy Corbett are expected to return as well. Today, LEGO celebrates the 130th birthday of Ole Kirk Kristiansen, the founder of the company. Ole jump started a company with wooden toys that would eventually evolve into our favorite building toy with the help of his son Godtfred. Unfortunately, Ole wouldn’t be able to see the success of the building blocks but his spirit lives on in the creations that we build. I’ve seen some rumors online saying that this is one of the sets that could be retiring at the end of the year. Back in January, I reported that we could be getting a LEGO Marvel Collectible Minifigures (71031) series and many fans started wondering which characters we could be getting. There are new rumors reported by Just2Good from Instagram user 1414FalconFan that the series could be based on some of the Marvel Disney+ shows including WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, and the What If..? series. If rumors are true, this would be a very interesting series as WandaVision has lots of cool outfits for the characters. The Falcon and Winter Soldier ones could be bland but a Baron Zemo and Sharon Carter would be nice. For Loki, the green tuxedo with the Horned Helmet outfit could be possible. It looks like there’s some new LEGO Speed Champions sets that have hit Target a bit early as some fans have found a new one called the Mopar Dodge//SRT Top Fuel Dragster and 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A (76904) on store shelves. In fact, I believe multiple people have found it at different locations. Brickfinder reports that one person was able to purchase it while another on Reddit was denied purchase. The set has 627 pieces and retails for $49.99. The release date is up in the air as one store said it was street dates for August 1 while some day that the release date is in June. The set also is in the running for the longest set name ever.
