LEGO DREAMZzz Mateo and Z-Blob the Robot (71454) Review
In my next review of the LEGO DREAMZzz line, we take a look at Mateo and Z-Blob the Robot (71454). This set has 237 pieces and retails for $19.99.
Minifigures
There are two minifigures in the set, Mateo and Jayden. Mateo is the same minifigure that we’ve seen before with the same pencil spear and hourglass accessories.
Jayden has on purple pajamas with unicorn printing on both sides of the torso. His double-sided head shows him wearing braces with a normal expression on one side and sleeping on the other.
Build
The first part of the build is for Jayden’s bed which is also a nightmare monster that has eyes and legs.
The main part of the build is the the Z-Blob Robot. It has your standard articulation on the arms and legs. Both use ratchet joints to give it more stability with swivels at the elbows and ball joints at the ankles.
One of the versions of Z-Blob has him with a a large blaster that is designed like a paintball gun. It also has some stud shooters on the shoulders as well. There’s also some canister accessories as well. LEGO’s product description says they are for target practice.
The other version of Z-Blob shows him with a futuristic helmet and a jetpack.
