LEGO Contest Round-Up for June 2024
A new month is upon us which means more competitive building! Are you ready? Here’s the latest bunch of LEGO contests and challenges from all around the AFOL community for June 2024 to help you find some inspiration and motivation to build! There’s nothing quite like a theme or a prompt to take you out of your comfort zone and give you something new to try. Besides, contests are the perfect place to interact with other contestants and judges and get to know your fellow builders. And if you’re like me, a deadline helps make sure you actually finish!
We’ve listed them in order of deadline so you can plan your building time to the best advantage. Make sure to check the LEGO activity calendar for local challenges and events near you. Here at BrickNerd, some of our fondest memories, greatest building achievements, coolest trophies, and best friendships came from LEGO contests, so we really hope you try some of these out. We look forward to seeing what you build!
Tell us all about the in-game world and lore. What’s the story behind the villagers? Where do they come from? Why are there three biomes in your world? Why is there a Shark Ship Skeleton in the middle of a desert? There are so many questions within LEGO Fortnite and we’re asking you to give us your answers. Build your own storyline with in-game creations and tell us what future awaits players in LEGO Fortnite.
All you need to do to participate is to create a profile on LEGO World Builder and start creating your world. Flesh it out with in-game screenshots or original images. Five different creators’ worlds/stories will be chosen and turned into a series of YouTube videos and cash prizes!

Build a 12x12 vignette depicting how your chosen licensed character(s) spend their time in the sunny season. Whether it’s Thor on a bushwalk in the Australian Outback, Buzz and Jesse in a summer camp, or Mushu and Mulan in Milan, show us a slice of a licensed character having some summer fun!

Prize: The contest winner will get a 100EUR set of their choice

May the 4th be with you. Eurobrick's annual Star Wars contest is back!
There are many ways to participate, and lots of ways to win! Four different categories, multiple prizes, and a chance to participate in our role-playing Star Wars game Mysteries are all part of the fun this year.
Deadline: July 1st
Prize: Lots of great prizes across the four (of course!) categories and a Grand Admiral prize for the entrant with the highest sum of scores counting all the categories!

This one is for kids ages 5-13. LEGO has teamed up with space-loving singer-songwriter Sam Ryder to give you earthlings a chance to have a message transmitted deep into outer space. Simply tell us what your ultimate space adventure would be, whether it’s playing a guitar solo on Jupiter, blasting off on a rocket race to Pluto or playing football on the moon, the skies the limit!
Deadline: July 1st
Prize: 10 winners will have their message broadcast into deep space and receive six space-themed sets signed by Sam Ryder, including the City Space Explorer Rover, City Space Base, Creator Space Astronaut, Friends Mars Space Base, Technic Dropper, and Technic Earth, Moon & Sun.

In this challenge, we want you to showcase your beloved pets in various playful situations, whether they're frolicking in the park, lounging at the beach, or causing mischief around the house.

The Infamous Steve Pirate Contest
For years, this minifigure was simply known as “The Merchant” who came sailing into the Imperial Trading Post onboard “The Cutter” and then later mysteriously appeared among Captain Redbeard’s crew on the Skulls Eye Schooner. Where does Steve come from? Are there more merchants who use the same insignia on their flags and sails? Do these merchants also have ships? Larger ships than Steve?
With large and small building categories, the creative critic, and prize draws, there’s pirate goodness here for everyone!
