LEGO Spring Festival Trotting Lantern (80116) Review

Although Chinese New Year is over, we still want to take a look at another Spring Festival set that can be used yearly with the Trotting Lantern (80116). The set has 1,295 pieces and retails for $129.99.



Minifigures
There are five minifigures in the set, a family with two kids and another character dressed up as a snake. The father has on a t-shirt with a record and a denim jacket over that. His double-sided head shows him with smiles on both sides, one with him also winking. His accessory is a brick-built shadow puppet.



The mother has on a traditional Chinese outfit that is half teal and brown. The detailing on it is pretty intricate on both sides of the torso. She has a single-sided head with her smiling. Her accessories include a plate of dumplings and a pair of chopsticks.


The son has on a colorful jacket showing the number 27 on the back. He also has a single-sided head with a smile. His accessories include a pair of chopsticks and a bowl.


The daughter has on the exact same outfit as her mother. Her double-sided head shows her with a smile on one side and a shocked expression on the other. Her accessory is a printed 1×2 tile of a red envelope.



Lastly we have the snake costume character who also wears a traditional Chinese outfit. It is decorated with a pearl-gold snake that goes on both sides of the torso. The helmet that he wears is a new snake head piece. … Continue
