The release of the LEGO Ideas The Orient Express Train (21344) is just around the corner but there is a sticker issue with the set in case you are building it right after release date. There are two sticker sheets in the set and one of them has incorrect coloring it. As shown below on the left, stickers 9, 10, and 14 are supposed to have a metallic silver finish to them but there will be some sets that have stickers with a flat flame-orange coloring. LEGO has already caught the error and has already provided the new stickers in future production runs. If you do get the wrong sticker sheet, LEGO suggests contacting Customer Service to get the replacement stickers. Below is the official statement that LEGO has provided about the issue. We identified a color error in the sticker sheet for LEGO set 21344 and we have already implemented...

With the much-anticipated release of the LEGO Ideas Orient Express (21344), LEGO train fans once again have a great deal to celebrate. Given that LEGO’s product release schedule for train theme sets is both infrequent and unpredictable, each release is that much more impactful and attracts its share of scrutiny from LEGO train fans. After building the new LEGO Orient Express, I can say it is special for a few reasons: It's a steam train! Steam trains are definitely a minority subject compared to their diesel and electric peers. Its chosen scale is 8-studs wide. For almost all of the span of LEGO train theme history, the nominal scale of locomotives and rolling stock has been 6-studs wide. The trend to bigger proportional scales started with the Disney Train (71044) in 2019 at 8-studs wide, followed by the Crocodile (10277) in 2020 at 7-studs wide. Size. At nearly 140 studs long...

To celebrate the release of the new LEGO Marvel Avengers Tower (76269), LEGO is doing a sweepstakes to win a graded New York Toy Fair 2012 Captain America minifigure in the Rewards Center. These were one of the first few LEGO minifigure exclusives for conventions at that time and only 125 were produced which makes it highly desirable for collectors. Each entry costs 50 Insiders points and you can have a maximum of 50 entries. The sweepstakes ends on December 15. In less than a day, the US is already out of stock on a few LEGO Black Friday 2023 gift with purchase sets on the LEGO Shop. The Marvel Taxi (5008076) which came with the Avengers Tower (76269) and Majisto’s Magical Workshop (40601) are already gone and it may seem that the mini Falcon Knight’s Castle is also gone from the Rewards Center. I can’t confirm that because it only shows that I redeemed the code but I’ve been told by a few readers that it already went out of stock 30 minutes after Black Friday started. If you still want the promos, your best chance is to see if a local LEGO Brand Store still has them in stock or you may have to resort to the secondary market. It seems that LEGO is doing well for Black Friday this year even if the promotions don’t seem as flashy as...
