I have a soft spot for Tudor-style buildings, brick-built trees, crumbling brick walls and interesting colour choices. This little medieval bakery by Danthefan ticks all the boxes for me. The Tudor style looks nice and simple. It even is used for the round tower, which isn’t an easy thing to do. The building has a little stone porch complete with stairs, and the stonework around the base of the house looks as if it has been there for a long time and has passed the test of time. You might notice that while the roof is bright green, the top of the roof of the tower is medium green. I had a hard time identifying the LEGO piece used for the top of the tower. The set has been out for a while now but LEGO has just released the designer video for the LEGO Star Wars Imperial Probe Droid (75306). Designer Jan Neergaard Olesen talks about some of the details in the set which was first seen in The Empire Strikes Back. A few days ago, LEGO announced the grand prize and runner up winners of the building contest that puts their creations in the LEGO House for an entire year. LEGO has announced they have launched their first digital vlog series for LEGO Ninjago called Ninja Vlogs. The vlogs feature Jay and Nya who are played by actors using motion capture and real-time rendering and it combines CGI along with a live action performance. LEGO has released a mysterious trailer that shows something is coming soon on June 26. It shows a 2×2 brick with the stud highlighted in different colors and the whole image glitches. LEGO did do another teaser a few months back with the hashtag #NFT but that tweet was quickly deleted. I’m not sure if this new teaser related to that or not. It’s also possible that it could be the LEGO Light Mode lighting kits that were shown off last year but haven’t heard anything about them since.
