Well, it turns out Sasha Baron Cohen and his fumbling foreign alter ego are relevant again. Borat: Subsequent Moviefilm (actual title is much longer) had come out in late 2020 and garnered three Golden Globe nominations. Mr. Cohen won the award for best actor in a motion picture, musical or comedy, for his starring role as the titular character. Rudy Guiliani, who also appeared in the film, won no such award because apparently, that wasn’t acting. Plus, Iain has a knack for knowing what is hot at any precise moment. Reinforcements have arrived! Whether you are deploying soldiers to the battlefront or supplies in the midst of a humanitarian crisis, Anders Sinding’s dropship is the LEGO vehicle needed to get the job done. This build looks like it arrives screaming down from the skies. It’s clear this dropship is capable of anything. I’m way impressed with the decision to not use transparent pieces for the cockpit, going instead with sloped bricks angled in a way to have the same jutting windscreen vibe. The engines are just as incredible, using not one, not two, but three fan intakes. I like the clear blue piece on the nose. I’m sure it’s part of the dropship’s sensor equipment, helping sweep the landing area for obstacles or threats before deploying. As far as color goes, I really admire the choice to stick with red with white and blue accents. Overall, I would be more than happy...

US Retailer Target revealed that it will be releasing a Carnage LEGO bust for pre-order on March 11th at 8 am CST.  The set comes with 546 pieces and no pricing details have been shared yet. Based on past series of LEGO busts revealed from the Star Wars lineup, it’s likely to be priced at USD $59.99. We’ll share more information as it’s revealed. Carnage is an offspring spawned off the villain from the Spider-Man universe, Venom. Today, The LEGO Group presented the financial report for the full year of 2020. An online event was hosted by the company’s CEO, Niels B Christiansen, who announced a strong growth of all key indicators. In 2020, the revenue grew 13 percent to DKK 43.7 billion compared with 2019, while consumer sales grew 21 percent compared to the same period. Operating profit was DKK 12.9 billion, an increase of 19 percent compared with 2019. The brand’s global market share grew globally and in its 12 largest countries. Niels B Christiansen, the CEO, said: “We are very pleased with these results. They show the timeless relevance of the LEGO brick and learning through play. This performance is also a testament to the passion, creativity and resilience of our people.
