LEGO may have released a batch of new March 2020 LEGO sets yesterday, but there’s still a wealth of sets from January worth taking another look at. One of the biggest changes to happen within a LEGO theme is the change in LEGO Speed Champions models from six studs wide to eight studs wide. LEGO has released the designer video for the new LEGO Creator Fiat 500 (10271) which had probably the fastest turnaround from its official announcement to the set release. LEGO designer Pierre Normandin talks about some of the details of the iconic 1965 vehicle including the difficulties of getting the right shape for the car as well as the meaning of the stickers used. As for the Cool Yellow color that LEGO used for the car, Pierre mentioned that it isn’t a color they use that often.
