Is it weird that when I see a really cool ship like this my first thought is to imagine it mounted to a pylon in front of a green screen with a big motion control rig swooping a camera past it, then the shot that would result from that motion control pass? This is the Daedalus, by builder Rat Dude, and I want to see it in a movie! The detailing is exquisite, with a perfect blend of large and small detail to convey the scale, and just enough studs to let you know it’s LEGO. Original linkOriginal author: Tommy

The LEGO Ideas Pop-Up Book (21315) is now available and if you’ve followed the project on Ideas, you’ll notice that LEGO made some minor changes to it. Jason Allemann has uploaded a new video showing some modifications he has made to the official set to his liking. One of the big changes was that LEGO omitted the clasp on the set which I mentioned in my review. In the video, he has shown us know how to make a small change to the set to add the clasp. What’s cool is that you don’t even need your own parts to make because it uses existing parts from the set itself. Jason also shows us how to make a clip clasp but that will require some extra parts. BlizzCon 2018 kicks off tomorrow and attendees will be able to see a LEGO Overwatch statue of D.Va at the event. Both D.Va and her mech consists of 145,276 pieces and weighs 1,256 pounds together and it took LEGO builders 731 hours to construct. It’s assumed that some of the LEGO Overwatch sets will be on display at BlizzCon but we’ve already seen images of the set from my previous article from last week. Which set are you looking forward to getting? The post LEGO Overwatch D.Va Statue at BlizzCon 2018 appeared first on The Brick Fan. Original linkOriginal author: Allen "Tormentalous" Tran
