Hans Langseth was a man of much beard, record breaking beard, like the longest ever beard. And while that is pretty impressive, capturing his likeness in bricks as Pate keetongu has done is pretty impressive too. Of course it didn’t take nearly as long, but took more skill than allowing hair to grow. Then again, building it was probably less work than showing with that much beard. Millennials should recognize this guy, it’s Samurai Jack! Back when Cartoon Network had had enough of replaying old cartoons and started making their own content, and it was glorious. The likes of Dexter’s Lab, Powerpuff Girls and my personal favorite Johnny Bravo paved the way for this breakout hit. Builder madoruk was clearly a fan, and celebrates the show with this amazing MOC. If you haven’t picked up last year’s LEGO Creator Winter Village Station (10259), Amazon has it on sale for a whopping 31% off the regular price. This now makes it $54.99 instead of $79.99 which makes it a great buy considering that it has 902 pieces. This set is an add-on to the Winter Holiday Train (10254) but it’s a fine set even by itself. Check out my review of it here. The post LEGO Creator Winter Village Station (10259) Amazon Sale appeared first on The Brick Fan. Original linkOriginal author: Allen "Tormentalous" Tran
If you didn’t see it last night, LEGO Shop@Home has a surprise Double VIP Points event going on until the end of October. That means for every $100 you spend, you can get back $10 worth of LEGO VIP Points to use on future purchases. There’s probably only two or three Double Points events left in the year so now’s a good time to stock up on Christmas/Birthday gifts. This promotion runs alongside the free LEGO Minifigure Collector Frame (5005359) with purchases of $75 or more. On the heels of a major leak this past weekend, LEGO has released a teaser of the upcoming LEGO Ideas Pop-Up Book (21315). The official announcement for the set will be coming in a few days but the teaser does show the Big Bad Wolf from the Little Red Riding Hood. It’s also reported that Jack and the Beanstalk will also be included in this set as well. We’ll be able to confirm everything soon.
