Last month, we asked you to get comfy and build your most adorable LEGO creations—something so adorable that we couldn’t help but go, “Awww!” And wow, did you all bring on the cute! We received 115 entries, and we were absolutely overwhelmed by all the happy vibes! To recap, the AdoraBuild had three categories: Small Scale, Sweet Scenes and Cuddly Characters. LEGO has officially announced the LEGO The Legend of Zelda Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 (77092) which you can pre-order today. It has 2,500 pieces and retails for $299.99 and is the first official Legend of Zelda set which we have been waiting for for years. The fan vote for the LEGO Ideas Minifigure Prize Machine set is now live and you can now choose the Classic Space minifigure color and Castle faction you want to see in the set. For the Classic Space minifigure, there are five choices of Reddish Violet, Dark Azure, Warm Gold, Bright Yellowish Green, and Bright Bluish Green. For the Castle faction, there are four choices which consist of Griffins, Krakens, Crows, or Bulls. You have until June 3 to get your votes in. Growing up Catholic and Irish American in the central United States tends to make one aware of the University of Notre Dame. More than a few of my family members are fans of the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame! (Where the nickname of Fighting Irish came from when the school was founded by French Missionaries is a story for another time.). In February, a coworker who is an alumnus of Notre Dame sent me a text with a link to an admissions article with beautiful pictures of a LEGO build of McKenna Hall—the University of Notre Dame’s “Main Building.” The MOC was a commission piece by University alumni Father Bob Simon.
