We don’t talk about new LEGO sets much at BrickNerd—there are a plethora of other great sites that do that. However to help us keep the quality up and ads down, we need your help. It is a great way to support community-focused journalism without costing you more than you already spend on LEGO. An Australian LEGO Certified Store has revealed a new LEGO Technic set with the Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica Orange (42196). If you think you’ve seen it before, that’s because you have since it is basically a recolor of the original set which came in lime green. The 806 piece count is still the same and I’ll assume the price of $49.99 will be the same as well when it releases in April. Howdy good BrickNerd readers! This article marks an exciting first for me in being offered a yet-to-be-announced LEGO set to play with. I know many blog sites across the interwebs (including BrickNerd) regularly have this wonderful opportunity, but as it’s my first time, I got to feel that special buzz of doing something new and guarding a big “insider secret.” As you can see from the article’s main image, I was especially lucky to receive 43242 Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Cottage a few weeks ago. My quick review? This is a real beauty, I can tell you—bravo LEGO! This is a stellar set, totally love it! The first challenge was coming up with a unique angle to approach an article, as is the BrickNerd way. If you’d like to also read an in-depth review of the set, I’d encourage you to hop on over to one of our LEGO-verse counterparts (The Brothers Brick...

February always flies by, but the LEGO community was back in force with a flurry of fantastic features! We have collected a feast of fabulous articles and formidable deep dives from the farthest fringes of the LEGO fellowship. We are fortunate to be flush with so many forums and fan media that fervently fashion such a flourish of facinating features every month, so enjoy the finest of February! Here at BrickNerd, we corrected mistakes in MOCs and an amusement park train layout; we traveled around the world in microscale, went for a ride in a telephone TARDIS and brick-built Volvo, and traveled Middle Earth through The Silmarillion. We went small with explorations into baby scale, extra pieces, LEGO hot dogs, and even theoretical physics! We got hands-on and published a field guide for birds, a guide to building a GBC module, a history of LEGO typography, and a think-piece on LEGO...

As the newest LEGO Icons release, I have no doubt that 10332 Medieval Town Square has been popping up quite a bit on your social feeds. Even now, you can likely summon up a dozen different written reviews and a myriad of videos. This presents me with a pickling quandary since I do not wish to be redundant. Then, at the same time, if you’ve clicked on this article, perhaps you ARE looking for a one-stop shop of basic information. 10332 Medieval Town Square So I’ve decided I am going to do a super blitz one-sentence review, followed by a single picture. Then I will dub myself free and will continue to ramble on in a LEGO set daydream, going on as many side quests as I can muster. Here goes! “Set good, Fun build, Figs nice, 3.3k pcs, $230, Haz goat, Can buy March 1.” And the best set overview...

Walmart will be holding their Collector Con event next month and it looks like LEGO will be part of the offerings. On March 14 & 15, Walmart will be dropping collectibles from various companies with sneak peeks starting on March 7. LEGO has been doing Collector Con for a few years with all the reveals being LEGO Star Wars sets so I wouldn’t be too surprised if it’ll be the same this year. I don’t think there will be any exclusives as all the previous sets have been available on the LEGO Shop. The post LEGO Part of Walmart Collector Con 2024 appeared first on The Brick Fan.
