LEGO has put up the official product listings for the new 2024 LEGO Super Mario sets that will be releasing on January 1. A majority of them look pretty detailed and surprisingly, the price points for them are very reasonable. One new thing about this wave is that paper instructions will be included in the box as you no long need the app to build them but you’ll still need it to get the full interactive features. Yoshis' Egg-cellent Forest (71428) – 107 pieces/$9.99 Nabbit at Toad's Shop (71429) – 230 pieces/$19.99 Penguin Family Snow Adventure (71430) – 228 pieces/$19.99 Bowser's Muscle Car (71431) – 458 pieces/$29.99 Dorrie's Sunken Shipwreck Adventure (71432) – 500 pieces/$44.99 The post LEGO Super Mario 2024 Sets Officially Revealed appeared first on The Brick Fan. Bonus points if you can work out which fonts have been used. Hint, all have been used by LEGO and some can be found below! In the last couple of years, you may have noticed the boxes, instructions and LEGO website looking a little different. A small facelift perhaps? What you might’ve seen but not realized is that LEGO is now almost fully switched over to a new brand font. Cera Pro is now in full flight within the brand, and I have one main theory as to why I believe this switch was enacted. Other than shaking up the style a little with Cera Pro’s slightly playful characters, accessibility is its strong suit. The website now follows the same typographic choices as the packaging; not previously possible with Chalet. Cera Pro in its entirety supports more than 270 languages with its Cyrillic and Greek character sets, allowing for a far...

Finding LEGO-themed clothing in adult sizes can be a problem. There have been times when LEGOLAND theme parks or LEGOLAND Discovery Centres have stocked clothing for adults, but it’s usually limited to t-shirts, jackets or hats. Occasionally there have been t-shirts in Uniqlo, sportswear from Adidas and various clothing from Target US. And, of course, there are any number of print-on-demand or fan-designed products available from various online sources. But this story is not about any of those retailers—rather, it is about Target Australia, adult-sized pyjamas (PJs) and the patience of AFOLs. The PJs as seen on the Target Australia website One of the things I like to do is highlight to other LEGO fans when new licensed products become available, with the hope that they will do the same for me. I’m as big a fan of the themed merchandise as I am of LEGO sets and parts. If it’s...

What math is hidden in your favorite circular LEGO sets, how do designers build the perfect sphere, and how do numbers magically make LEGO geometry work so perfectly? To help answer those questions, we are pleased to feature another guest article from Deep Shen, a well-rounded builder who discusses the hidden math of LEGO circles and spheres. Deep’s portfolio of work can be found at Towering Brick Creations, on his Flickr page and on Instagram. A Shield and A Globe In August 2023, LEGO released a new set (76262) that creates a reasonably accurate replica of Captain America’s Shield from the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe). The initial fan reactions to this set were less than positive, with some people comparing it unfavorably to the bigger (and more expensive) custom version sold by Bricker Builds. That particular version is built as a sculpture created by stacking regular plates, which makes it far...

LEGO has revealed another gift with purchase set on the LEGO Shop with the LEGO Creator Winter Market Stall (40602). The 271 piece set has a little stall that is selling toys of a train, rocket, and nutcracker soldier. There’s no information yet on how to get it but I assume it’ll be during the Black Friday event. Kids can enjoy the holiday season with the adorable Winter Market Stall (40602). The brick-built stall includes a cash register and 3 toy mini-models (a train, a rocket and a nutcracker soldier). At the top of the stall is an attic that stores 2 Christmas gifts. The set also includes a Christmas tree, a snowman and 2 minifigures wearing Christmas sweaters. Kids aged 8+ can proudly display this Christmas LEGO® set, which will help develop their storytelling. The post LEGO Creator Winter Market Stall (40602) Revealed appeared first on The Brick Fan. Alright, BrickNerd fans! We’re almost halfway through Nerdvember, our month-long contest extravaganza dedicated to all things nerdy—this year specifically survival themed! We have some amazing LEGO to give away and all you have to do is build a Nerdly. Survivor Nerdly? (Is that like Bear Grylls walking barefoot on LEGO?) Glad you asked! Luckily it has nothing to do with eating bugs or treading water in shark-infested seas. Although it could, if that’s what you want your Nerdly to do. Survival is the key because Nerdly IS a survivor! Send Nerdly into space to reenact Gravity. Give ‘em a rubber band and MacGyver out of a sticky situation. Put Nerdly on a boat with a tiger… or make Nerdly the Eye of the Tiger(we’ll get back to that)! Did Nerdly survive Fall Guys? Are they in a burning room thinking everything is fine? Or maybe Nerdly is high atop an island...

There are now official images of the upcoming LEGO Marvel Taxi (5008076) gift with purchase set. The set does come in the flimsy yellow box packaging with the instructions booklet in the front. Note that the description of the set say the set will include 5 decorated elements. I can confirm that they will all be printed bricks and no stickers. The Marvel Taxi will only have a limited run as you can get it for free with a purchase of the LEGO Marvel Avengers Tower (76269) during Black Friday weekend from November 24-27. The LEGO® Marvel Taxi set is a fun add-on build for the LEGO® Marvel Avengers Tower (76269). The set includes a focal taxi model with 5 decorated elements across the vehicle. There are 4 minifigure characters included: Black Panther, two outriders, and a taxi driver. The post LEGO Marvel Taxi (5008076) Official Images appeared first on The...
