A few weeks ago we got a first look at the extremely rare LEGO Peter Jackson minifigure we now know the buyer and how much they paid for it. We can now confirm that Samuel Burkhardt aka rarest_lego_minifigures on Instagram is the buyer which isn’t too surprising. The more shocking part is that the final price of it was $38,028 and if you account for import taxes, it’s value is probably worth over $40,000. When you check out Samuel’s account, you can see thousands and thousands of dollars of rare LEGO items that he has obtained throughout the years and the Peter Jackson minifigure may be one of the most rare ones in his collection. We’re in pretty much unprecedented territory for LEGO Ideas as we’re now at 90 projects that have qualified for the Second 2025 Review Stage. At this point, there’s no question that 100 qualified projects is well within possibility and I’m going to venture a guess that we might even reach as high as 120. The qualifying period ends at the end of August so there’s plenty of time for projects to gather votes. I love the LEGO Botanical line, but I have a problem. I’ve only got two vases. Some Botanical sets try to solve that problem for me by including a pot or something, but then I have a second problem: I don’t have a ton of table or shelf space. What I do have is often overrun with MOCs of my own. Where can I put these gorgeous flowers without having to move into a bigger place? Brixpo was held on the weekend of the 5th and 6th of July in Adelaide, South Australia. This year, 157 LEGO fans attended from all over the country, making it the largest LEGO fan event in South Australia.
